Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the RunFreeApps platform (the "Service"), available at https://runfreeapps.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

The Service is operated by Work Stream Apps LLC. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

RunFreeApps provides a platform that allows users to browse, select, and deploy open-source software applications to their own cloud hosting accounts (such as DigitalOcean). We act as a facilitator: your applications run on infrastructure you control.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password confidential and secure
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

4. Plans & Pricing

4.1 Hobbyist Plan (Free)

The free Hobbyist Plan allows you to deploy one (1) application at no cost. This plan includes access to the full app catalog and the ability to connect your cloud hosting account.

4.2 Lifetime Pass ($49 One-Time)

The Lifetime Pass is a one-time payment of $49 USD that grants you unlimited application deployments, automated updates, custom domain support, and community email support. This is not a subscription; you pay once and the pass is valid indefinitely.

4.3 Refund Policy

Since the Lifetime Pass is a one-time purchase for digital services, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied, please contact us within 14 days of purchase at [email protected]. We will work with you to find a resolution.

5. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your payment card information on our servers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Send spam or unsolicited marketing, or message any recipient without valid prior consent
• Upload, import, or message purchased, rented, harvested, or scraped contact lists
• Engage in fraud, scams, phishing, or impersonation of another person or business
• Distribute malware, viruses, or links to malicious content
• Promote illegal products or services, adult or sexually explicit content, hate speech, or harassment
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of our proprietary systems
• Use automated scripts to collect information or interact with the Service without our prior written consent

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of that policy as described in it.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, logos, and content, is the property of Work Stream Apps LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our proprietary content without our express written permission.

Open-source applications deployed through our platform retain their original licenses. Your use of those applications is governed by their respective open-source licenses, not by these Terms.

8. Trademarks

n8n, NocoDB, and Listmonk are trademarks of their respective owners. Docker and the Docker logo are trademarks or registered trademarks of Docker, Inc. Work Stream Apps LLC has no affiliation with these trademark holders. DigitalOcean is a registered trademark of DigitalOcean, LLC.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party cloud hosting providers (e.g., DigitalOcean) and payment processors (Stripe). These third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.

11. Disclaimers

11.1 Third-Party Services

Work Stream Apps LLC is a deployment facilitator only. We do not provide hosting services. By using this Service, you acknowledge that you are entering into a direct contractual relationship with third-party hosting providers (e.g., DigitalOcean). You are solely responsible for all costs, overages, or billing disputes incurred on those platforms.

11.2 Software Integrity & "As-Is" Basis

We do not author the open-source applications deployed through our platform. All applications are provided "AS-IS" without warranties of any kind. Work Stream Apps LLC is not liable for any damages, data loss, security vulnerabilities, or issues arising from the installation or operation of third-party software.

11.3 No Responsibility for Downtime

We are not responsible for any service interruptions caused by the hosting provider or the deployed software itself.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORK STREAM APPS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM THIRD-PARTY HOSTING SERVICES, OPEN-SOURCE SOFTWARE, DATA LOSS, SECURITY VULNERABILITIES, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $49 USD, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Work Stream Apps LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete My Account" feature in your dashboard settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.
