Does Jobber automatically respond to website leads?

Last updated: September 12, 2026

In a limited way, yes. When someone submits a Request form on a Jobber-connected website, Jobber shows them a confirmation message and automatically emails them a copy of their request for their records, per Jobber's own Help Center documentation. That's a generic acknowledgment that the request was received, not a personalized reply addressing what they actually asked about, and it doesn't by itself get a person talking to that lead.

This is separate from Jobber Receptionist, an AI phone-answering add-on Jobber launched in August 2025. Receptionist answers and books calls to your business phone line; it isn't what responds when a lead fills out a web form, that's the confirmation-email behavior described above. The two solve different problems within the same product.

So a Jobber-connected website does confirm receipt automatically, but closing the gap between "the lead knows we got their message" and "a person actually followed up with them" is still on the business, unless something else, an owner's own habits, a team process, or a separate tool, closes it.
