AI-Powered Lead Follow-Up

Day 1, 3, 7, and 14. The facts stay the same, the words never repeat.

Last updated: September 5, 2026

A real Day 1/3/7 follow-up thread, worded fresh each time.

Part of the Lead Automation workflow, and specific to your contact form: if a lead doesn't book after the first contact, SeenOnMain automatically follows up over email on Day 1, 3, 7, and 14, referencing that specific lead's own details rather than sending a generic blast. You approve the real facts about your business once (services, current offer, what makes you different), and the AI rewords each of the four messages fresh every time it sends, so a Day 1 email and a Day 14 email don't read like the same template copy-pasted four times.

The sequence stops automatically the moment a lead books, replies, or unsubscribes, whichever comes first, and it never sends anything to someone who didn't submit your form in the first place.

A quote request runs a different, shorter sequence instead of this one: an AI-drafted proposal that goes out when you tap Send, a 48-hour follow-up if it's not answered, and a confirmation when you mark them as a customer. See the Quote-to-Proposal feature for that flow. Each form type gets the sequence built for it, not one generic drip stretched over everything.

Worth knowing

By default this runs over email. Two-way SMS conversations with leads and customers are available for accounts that have completed carrier SMS registration (A2P 10DLC) and had it enabled, not a default-on capability for every account, since US carrier rules require that registration before any business can text a lead who hasn't already opted in over SMS directly. This Day 1/3/7/14 sequence only ever fires for a submission through your contact form; a quote request runs Quote-to-Proposal's own sequence instead, not this one on top of it.

Frequently asked questions

Will every lead get the exact same email?

No. The underlying facts about your business are approved once, but the AI rewords each of the four touches fresh, using that lead's own name and details, so the wording never repeats even though the facts stay accurate.

Can a lead opt out of follow-up?

Yes. Every email includes a working unsubscribe link, and the request is honored immediately, no more messages go out to that person afterward.

Does follow-up happen over text too?

By default it's email. SMS follow-up is available once your account has completed carrier registration for business texting; until then, everything runs over email.
